MY BOOKS

The Misadventures of Eros and Thanatos
When life gives you lemons, you either make a juice or you let them beat you up.
If you like poems by Rupi Kaur, Atticus, or even Emily Dickinson, you will enjoy this book.
This poem anthology will explore themes such as heartbreak, grief, mental health problems, death- including a deep despair that induces suicidal ideation-, requited and unrequited love, parental expectation, and suffocating familial dynamics. It also explores healing, healthy love, finding a purpose, and overcoming struggles This book is raw, intense, hopeful, and comes at you just like Life does.
They were written during my highs and lows, when I went through heartbreak, suffocating expectations, and indescribable pain. It was a way to vent these emotions trapped inside me and find a connection with people who felt like me.
No More Tears
When the president of Golden Republic narrowly escapes an assassination attack, her task force, 'the Elite', is in a race to find the perpetrator. During the investigation, Asma Jensen, the new addition to the team, becomes the new target of attacks. Not quite a Metroian because her eyes are gold and not quite a Dynasty because the sclera of her eyes is black, Asma is an enigma in a world that had defined itself in a binary way. Now the recipient of attacks, she has to help solve this case before her secrets catch up to her.
The planet Metron is still suffering from the aftermath of the Last Metroian Rebellion 10 years ago. After Millennia of Dynasty domination, the Metroians rebelled and took over the planet. In Golden Republic, President Neela chose compassion and turned the former masters into citizens. Peace is fragile, and the surviving Dynasties fear being enslaved or slaughtered. As the situation grows dire, everyone looks to Asma with expectations that may be too much to carry. Some see her as a Messiah; others see a weapon, but the question remains: Who attacked the president? How long is Asma going to run from herself?
